The 2M2 unit consists of our 12Volt Mosquito 11/20 motor, driving two axles via two 18:1 reduction gearboxes.
The 2M2 unit is available as a 33mm wheelbase unit, and we can supply versions of the unit, on request, up to a maximum of 46mm wheelbase. The drive unit includes power pickups, and fixing brackets. Adjustable brackets are also included to attach outer frames, and allow simple removal of the assembled frames.
14mm (3'7" @4mm/ft) driving wheels are fitted as standard. This unit can be adapted to be controlled via a DCC module.
The standard unit is 33mm, if you need a larger wheelbase simply tell us what you need and we will deliver this!.
