Replacement phosphor bronze pickups are available to be fitted to the common gearbox units. Folding is required to correctly shape the components before fitting. The pickup contacts affix to the underside of the gearbox using self-tapping screws (provided with the gearboxes).

Sufficient parts are provided to replace contacts on a 12-wheel locomotive.
